As per the 2025 DEE Assam Teacher Recruitment for approximately 4,500 posts (LP & UP), the key age criteria are: Minimum age: 18 years Maximum age: 40 years (as of 1 January 2025)   Upper‑age relaxations (as on same date): Ex‑Servicemen: +2 years OBC/MOBC: +3 years SC/ST(P)/ST(H): +5 years Persons with Disability (PwD): +10 years   So depending on your category, the upper age limit could extend to 42, 43, 45 or even 50 years.
